About Us
Studfarm Van Langenhove
Since 1900, the farm on Den Dries in Denderbelle has been run by the Van Langenhove family. Eddy Van Langenhove took over from his father Arthur and grandfather Jozef, gradually focusing more and more on the Belgian Draft Horse.
The stallion station became a household name and remains one of the last still active since the golden era when large stables and famous names dominated the scene. Those glorious times are long gone and will not return.
For over 50 years, stallions have been raised, prepared for inspection and offered for breeding in Denderbelle. Numerous champion stallions have gone from here to all corners of the world to improve breeding.
The in-house breeding program remains limited in number but is of outstanding quality. Additionally, many future top mares are selected and sold on behalf of clients.

Eddy Van Langenhove
No less than ten times, the Belgian Championship was won, along with countless other top accolades. A true testament to the expertise and skill of the team at Stal van 't Langhof when it comes to Belgian draft horses.
As of 2025, top stallions are still available for breeding, and mares are carefully monitored throughout the breeding season.
Each year starting in September, a new selection of draft horse foals arrives—some stay for in-house rearing, others move on to different breeders to build their careers, or travel abroad to become ambassadors of our magnificent cold-blooded breed.
