Jim van 't Roetaart is a dark bay Belgian Draft Horse stallion
who's damline goes back to the Belgian champion of 1983, Supra van Terbekenhof. Supra was
not only an excellent prize-winning mare, she was also a real foundation-mare.
Jim's dam, Laura van 't Roetaart, seems to have inherited both these qualities,
as she won a first place at the National Championship several times.
She is a daughter of Belgian champion Tijn van de Vliegert.
The sire of Jim is former champion Matteo van 't Rietenhof who continues to prove his breeding qualities; he is blue roan with a bay mother so Jim guarantees color inheritance as well.
From his first crop, two sons were approved in Belgium and one in France; at the last stallion approval, three sons were added: a bay, a black and a grey, which further emphasizes the quality and color inheritance in his offspring.
